Fantasy Basketball Player of the Day: 11/5

Every day that there are games, FSC is going to pick the player that was the most wowing in fantasy world. But before I tell you last night's MVP let's look at the runners-up:

3rd Place: Jason Richardson, Suns
If he hadn't needed 2 overtimes to get these stats, JRich could have contended for a higher award. Either way, the line the Suns guard put up was out of this world. Get it? Suns? Yeah... humors not my strong suit. But that's beside the point. Richardson went off for 38 points, thanks in part to 6 threes, 8 rebounds, 3 assists and 4 steals. Overall, it was definitely a fantasy night to write home about for the former slam dunk champion.

Fantasy Basketball Player of the Day: 11/4

Every day that there are games, FSC is going to pick the player that was the most wowing in fantasy world. But before I tell you last night's MVP let's look at the runners-up:

Well, today was a very light slate for the NBA, so instead of the normal 1st, 2nd and 3rd place awards, I'm just going to cut to the chase and give out the hardware.

So without further ado, may I present the worthless... er...  priceless FBPotD trophy to:

Fantasy Basketball Player of the Day: 11/3

Every day that there are games, FSC is going to pick the player that was the most wowing in fantasy world. But before I tell you last night's MVP let's look at the runners-up:

Apparently Dwight Howard and the Magic heard what I said yesterday about the Lakers, Heat and Celtics being the only teams able to win the championship. While I still stand by that, Orlando sure looked impressive today.

3rd Place: Chris Paul, Hornets
CP3 reasserted his fantasy greatness tonight, contributing in every category. 25 points (on 7-12 from the field and 10-12 FT shooting), 8 assists, 7 rebounds, 4 steals, a block and a three make for one hell of a performance. If there was any doubt that CP3 was healthy and rearing to contribute, he obliterated them tonight.

Fantasy Basketball Player of the Day: 11/2

Every day that there are games, FSC is going to pick the player that was the most wowing in fantasy world. But before I tell you last night's MVP let's look at the runners-up:

There is honestly no way any team besides the Lakers, Heat or Celtics win the 'ship this year. They are completely dismantling people.

3rd Place: Rajon Rondo, Celtics
Its kind of amazing that Rondo hasn't appeared on a FBPotD list yet. I mean, the guy is averaging 17 assists per game. That's out of this world. If he keeps it up, I guess Rondo's 9 points, 17 assists, 3 rebounds, 4 steals, 1 three, was just average. Not bad if you ask me.

Fantasy Basketball Player of the Day: 11/1

Every day that there are games, FSC is going to pick the player that was the most wowing in fantasy world. But before I tell you last night's MVP let's look at the runners-up:

I just got back from the Spurs-Clippers game, and let me just say Eric Gordon and Blake Griffin make the Clippers one of the more exciting teams in the league to watch. Unfortunately, the excitement does not come from winning. They look like they could go 0-9 to start the season.

3rd Place: Tyreke Evans, Kings
Tyreke has been impressive after his return from the 1 game suspension. He posted an overall quality line, contributing in every category except for 3s. With 23 points, 7 boards, 5 assists, 2 steals and a block, no one is complaining about being an Evans owner tonight.

Fantasy Basketball Player of the Day: 10/31

Every day that there are games, FSC is going to pick the player that was the most wowing in fantasy world. But before I tell you last night's MVP let's look at the runners-up:

Happy Halloween all! Now that I'm back from a quick weekend getaway, let's get back to the FBPotD:

3rd Place: Dwayne Wade, Heat
Wade may not have scored as many points as his All-Star counterpart, Wade's line looked eerily similar to LeBron's. What made number 3's night better in my mind was the fact that he only turned the ball over 1 time, compared to James' 5. If LeBron doesn't get this TO problem under control, he could be a detriment to roto players with that category.

Fantasy Basketball Player of the Day: 10/28

Every day that there are games, FSC is going to pick the player that was the most wowing in fantasy world. But before I tell you last night's MVP let's look at the runners-up:

3rd Place: Hakim Warrick, Suns
Who would have thought this guy would ever show up on the list? Well, an 18/11 game off the bench on a night with only 2 games will do it.  Going 6 for 7 from the charity stripe helps as well.

Fantasy Basketball Player of the Day: 10/27

Every day that there are games, FSC is going to pick the player that was the most wowing in fantasy world. But before I tell you last night's MVP let's look at the runners-up:

3rd Place: Monta Ellis, Warriors
A lot of Monta's success can be chalked up to a game that was a scoring blur. But fantasy doesn't care about how you got the numbers, just that you got them. Ellis racked up an eye-opening 46 points, 3 boards, 2 assists, 1 three and threw in 2 steals as the cherry on top. What sets his line apart from most major scoring nights was Ellis' efficiency. If you own Monta, you are probably sitting pretty at the top of your FG% category since he shot a whopping 75% from the field on 18 for 24 shooting. Throw in quality free-throw shooting (9 for 12) and that's a helluva opening night.
